Proof of Delivery
Multiple verification methods ensure every delivery has a complete, verifiable digital record. No more lost paper slips.
Electronic Signature
Signature
Customer signs directly on the driver phone screen. Name and signature are captured and linked to the delivery.
Photo
Unlimited photos of goods, delivery point, or damages. Visual proof stored with the delivery record.
Barcode / QR
Scan product barcodes or QR codes to verify correct items against the order manifest.
OTP
One-time password sent to the customer for high-value deliveries. Customer provides the code to confirm receipt.
At each delivery stop, the driver presents the phone screen for the customer to sign. The system captures:
- drawSignature image — customer handwritten signature on screen
- personSigner name — name of the person who accepted the delivery
- gps_fixedGPS coordinates — exact location at the moment of signing
- scheduleTimestamp — exact date and time of signature
- smartphoneDevice info — driver device details for audit trail
Photo Documentation
Drivers can capture unlimited photos at each delivery stop. Common use cases include:
- Goods placed at the delivery point (loading dock, reception, doorstep)
- Pre-existing damage to the delivery area
- Product condition upon delivery
- Delivery point identification (building entrance, dock number)
Photos are timestamped and GPS-tagged automatically. They are stored with the delivery record and accessible from both Fleet Planner (dispatcher view) and Driver Pro (driver history).
Photo documentation is especially valuable for high-value deliveries, fragile goods, or locations where the recipient is not present (unattended delivery).
Barcode / QR / OTP
Barcode and QR scanning
The driver scans product barcodes or QR codes at the delivery point to verify that the correct items are being delivered. Scanned codes are matched against the order manifest — any discrepancies are flagged immediately.
OTP verification
For high-value or sensitive deliveries, the system sends a one-time password (OTP) to the customer via SMS or email. The customer provides the code to the driver, who enters it in the app to confirm delivery. This provides non-repudiable proof that the correct person received the goods.
Combined verification example
- qr_code_scannerBarcode scan — of all items (item verification)
- pinOTP from customer — (identity verification)
- drawElectronic signature — (acceptance confirmation)
- photo_cameraPhoto of delivered goods — (visual record)
