Integrations

Fleet Planner connects natively with the 8Move ecosystem and Google Maps. Orders in, routes out, confirmations back.

Driver Pro

Driver Pro is the companion mobile app for drivers. The integration is bidirectional and real-time:

DirectionData exchanged
Fleet Planner → Driver ProOptimised routes, stop sequences, delivery windows, customer details, special instructions
Driver Pro → Fleet PlannerReal-time GPS position, status updates, delivery confirmations, PoD data, failure reports

Routes are pushed to drivers automatically on dispatch. Every status change and GPS update flows back to Fleet Planner in real time.

Supply Now

Supply Now is the B2B customer portal where customers place orders. Fleet Planner receives these orders for dispatch planning:

  • shopping_cartOrder flowcustomer orders from Supply Now flow directly into Fleet Planner for dispatch
  • scheduleETA visibilitycustomers see their delivery ETA in Supply Now (configurable per client)
  • blockCapacity enforcementorders blocked during checkout when the vehicle for the slot is full
  • notificationsStatus updatescustomers receive delivery status notifications through Supply Now

BackOffice & WMS

BackOffice

BackOffice is the central business management tool. Orders created in BackOffice appear in Fleet Planner for dispatch. Delivery confirmations trigger automatic invoicing through BackOffice.

WMS (Warehouse Management)

The warehouse module receives route preparation notifications with aggregated product lists. Warehouse staff pick and pack by route rather than by individual order, saving significant time.

Google Maps

Fleet Planner uses Google Maps APIs for mapping, distance calculation, and route visualization:

  • mapInteractive mapGoogle Maps as the base layer for the dashboard
  • straightenDistance Matrix APItraffic-aware driving distances for route optimization
  • polylineRoute polylinesvisual route paths drawn on the map
  • pin_dropStop markersnumbered delivery stop markers with info windows
  • hexagonZone polygonsdelivery zone boundaries rendered as coloured overlays
cloud_off

When the Google Maps API is unavailable, the optimization engine falls back to Haversine (great-circle) distance calculations to ensure routes can still be optimized.
