Fixed routes and agency rates should price themselves
A corridor with a known price should quote instantly, at the rate that partner agreed, without a callback from the office.
Il problema
Every operator has routes that never change: the airport to the same three resorts, the station to the same hotel, the port to the same terminal. The price is known and has been known for two seasons, and it still gets worked out by hand every time somebody calls.
Agency work makes it harder. Each partner negotiated something slightly different, the rates live in an email thread and a dispatcher’s memory, and the first time anyone checks is when an invoice is disputed three weeks later.

Routes carry their own price, with a separate rate in each direction, so airport-to-city and city-to-airport are not forced to match. Seasonal, time-of-day, and vehicle-class multipliers apply on top by rule: a ski-season multiplier set once in December rather than typed into every quote. Shuttle and minibus operators run whole timetables this way, and so do ski and resort operators.
Partner rates are held per account rather than per conversation. A hotel, an agency, or a corporate client books through the portal or the API and sees the price agreed with them, with promo codes, volume thresholds, and discounts applied automatically. The partner side is covered on DMC and travel agency transfers.
