Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Driver Pro — offline mode, routes, proof of delivery, navigation, and more.

Does Driver Pro work without internet?

Yes. Driver Pro is built for offline-first operation. Routes, stop details, and customer information are cached locally. Drivers can navigate, capture signatures, take photos, and report failures without any internet connection. All data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.

What happens if the phone battery dies mid-route?

All completed deliveries and captured proof are saved locally. When the driver restarts the app, the route resumes from the last completed stop with all data intact.

Can dispatch change a route while the driver is mid-delivery?

Yes. Dispatchers can add, remove, or reorder stops on an active route. The driver receives a notification and the route updates in real time. If the driver is offline, the update is applied when connectivity returns.

Can drivers change the stop order themselves?

This depends on your configuration. Drivers can be given permission to reorder stops, skip stops, or strictly follow the optimized sequence set by Fleet Planner.

What types of proof of delivery can be captured?

Six methods: digital signature, photos (multiple per stop), barcode scan, email link confirmation, OTP code verification, and QR code scan from Supply Now. Each type can be configured as required or optional per delivery type.

Are signatures legally valid?

Yes. Signatures are captured with timestamp, GPS coordinates, and device information. The digital record meets the requirements for proof of delivery in most jurisdictions.

Which navigation apps are supported?

Driver Pro integrates with Google Maps, Waze, and Apple Maps. The default can be set company-wide or per driver preference.

Does the app drain battery quickly?

Driver Pro is optimized for all-day use. GPS tracking uses efficient batched location updates. On a typical smartphone, drivers can complete a full 8-hour shift without needing to charge.

How do returns work?

Two scenarios are supported. Partial reject: the customer refuses some items during delivery, the driver marks each item and generates a return note on the spot. Scheduled return pickup: the customer creates a return request in Supply Now, a manager approves it in Fleet Planner, and the driver picks up the items on a future route.

Which languages are supported?

Driver Pro supports English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic (with full RTL layout). The language is set per driver and can be changed in the app settings.
