Product Catalog

Build and maintain your full product catalog with categories, variants, images, barcodes, and detailed descriptions. Import thousands of products in seconds or add them one by one.

Products & Variants

Each product in the catalog has a detailed profile including name, description, SKU, images, weight, dimensions, and availability status. Products can have multiple variants — for example, different sizes, colors, or packaging formats — each with its own SKU, price, and stock level.

The product list supports search, filtering by category or status, and inline editing for quick updates. Toggle product visibility to hide seasonal items or discontinued products without deleting them from the system.

Categories

Organize your catalog into a hierarchical category tree with unlimited nesting depth. Categories appear in Supply Now's navigation, helping customers browse your catalog intuitively. Each category can have its own image, description, and sort order.

Drag and drop to reorder categories, or nest subcategories within parent categories. A product can belong to multiple categories, making it easy to create cross-category collections like "New Arrivals" or "Best Sellers" alongside your standard taxonomy.

Category-level pricing: Apply a discount or markup to an entire category at once. For example, offer 10% off all beverages for a specific client segment — individual product prices inherit the category rule automatically.

Pricing & Discounts

BackOffice implements a powerful 4-level pricing engine that determines the final price a client sees when ordering through Supply Now. Prices cascade from general to specific, with each level overriding the one above it.

LevelScopeDescription
1. Base PriceAll clientsThe default catalog price. Every product must have a base price defined.
2. Category RuleClient segment + categoryPercentage discount or markup applied to all products in a category for a client group.
3. Client PriceSpecific clientA negotiated price list for an individual client, overriding base and category rules.
4. Individual OverrideSpecific client + productA one-off price for a single product-client combination. Highest priority.

Need more advanced pricing? If the 4-level system doesn't cover your business complexity, we offer an extended pricing engine with multi-rule combinations, relationship modes (stacking, absorbing, maximum), seasonal pricing, and promo codes.

Units of Measure

Wholesale distribution often involves multiple units of measure for the same product — a beverage might be sold by the bottle, by the case (12 bottles), or by the pallet (60 cases). BackOffice supports flexible unit definitions with automatic conversion ratios.

Define a base unit for each product, then add secondary units with conversion factors. Pricing is tied to the unit, so a case of 12 bottles can have a different per-unit price than buying 12 individual bottles. Customers see all available units when placing orders in Supply Now.

Bulk Import / Export

Manage your catalog at scale with CSV import and export. Upload a spreadsheet to create or update hundreds of products in one operation — including names, descriptions, prices, categories, units, and images. The import wizard validates your data before committing changes and highlights any errors for correction.

Export your full catalog or a filtered subset to CSV for offline editing, sharing with partners, or feeding into external systems. Scheduled exports can be configured to run automatically on a daily or weekly basis.
