Existing page

Broadcast any published page — useful for pre-prepared emergency templates

Alerts activate within seconds of creation — player polls every 30 seconds and the alert fires on the next heartbeat cycle.

Targeting scope

Alert Broadcasts can target the entire client network, specific device groups, or individual devices. Select "All devices" for site-wide emergencies or narrow the scope for location-specific announcements.

campaign

Alert Broadcasts always run at priority 10 — the highest in the system. They override all scheduled playlists and other broadcasts immediately.

Banner font controls

Banner alerts honor configurable font family and font color — so severity is visible at a glance. Choose from system fonts or match your brand identity. Background color is independently configurable.

Activation & deactivation

  • play_circleActivate immediatelyAlert goes live on next player heartbeat (≤30s)
  • stop_circleDeactivateSingle click to end the alert; screens revert to scheduled content
  • scheduleAuto-expireSet an end time so the alert stops automatically

Priority resolution

When multiple alerts are active simultaneously, Screen Flow resolves by specificity: device-level targets take precedence over group targets, which take precedence over client-wide broadcasts. Within the same specificity level, the most recently activated alert wins.
